How much does a website cost for a small business?
Local Bloom website projects start at $750. The final price depends on the scope, and the quote is fixed before work begins. After launch, hosting and care is currently $99/month when you want us to keep the site looked after.
How do I get my business to show up in ChatGPT or Google AI answers?
Search and AI tools work from information they can understand and verify: clear services, accurate location details, consistent listings, real reviews, and useful answers to customer questions. Local Bloom helps organize those foundations.
How long until my website shows up on Google?
Search visibility depends on your starting point, competition, location, and the work completed. We establish a baseline, make improvements, and report what changes rather than promising a fixed ranking timeline.
What makes a website 'beautiful but findable'?
Two halves that most agencies split up: design that makes people comfortable taking the next step, and structure that lets search engines and AI understand your business. We do both in one team so the message stays consistent.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes — or do not touch it at all. Either works. We can hand over simple editing access and a recorded walkthrough, or discuss ongoing updates separately if you want us to handle them.
What do you need from me to start?
One conversation about your business, your photos (or we send a photographer), and access to anything you already own like your Google listing. That's genuinely it. We handle writing, design, and technical setup.
How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?
DIY builders give you tools; we give you outcomes. The difference shows up in speed, Google ranking, AI recommendations, and how many visitors become customers. You're not paying us to move boxes around a template — you're paying for a site engineered to grow your business.
Do you work with businesses outside Long Island?
Yes — though our local-search specialty is strongest for Long Island businesses. If you're elsewhere, ask about remote-friendly visibility plans.
What does the $99/month plan include?
Hosting and care includes secure hosting, routine backups, software upkeep, basic monitoring, reasonable text and image updates, email support, and a monthly review of useful next steps.
When does monthly billing begin, and can I cancel?
The plan begins when the website launches. It is month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel, so hosting, access, and updates can be closed out cleanly.
Can I add larger work later?
Yes. Additional pages, booking, ordering, locations, custom integrations, large content campaigns, and paid campaigns receive a separate fixed scope before work begins.
What's not included in these prices?
Third-party costs, ad budgets, major new pages, full redesigns, complex integrations, and large search, review, or campaign work are scoped separately before any work starts.
Do I own my website?
100%. Everything we build lives on your accounts and your domain. If we ever part ways, you take the whole site with you.
What happens after launch?
After launch, you can maintain the site yourself or choose the $99/month hosting and care plan for secure hosting, backups, routine updates, monitoring, and plain-English support. Larger work is scoped separately.
Can you redo my existing website instead of starting over?
Often yes. If your current site has good bones, we can redesign around it. If it's fighting you, we'll be honest that a rebuild is cheaper than a renovation.
What if I already have great Google reviews?
Great — we protect them. Existing reviews stay exactly where they are; our system adds fresh ones steadily instead of blasting people all at once (which looks fake to both humans and algorithms).
